The News Browser displays sequence of news reports, incoming to Media DB] (DSA-0700-15) in reversed chronological order The presentation of the incoming news reports is following the international standards indicating the day and the daytime of the source and the headline with the next two following lines of the text which normally are being used as Slug lines in which the keywords are listed to which the search filter can refer to This module is to be used on radio stations broadcasting news blocks of various size in their program The workflow provides acquisition of news reports by the News Browser from news agencies and automatic storing them in one or more [wikiDiDevDocDSIIModulesDSA-0700-15_EN Media DB (DSA-0700-15) news categories. Distribution of news to this or that category is normally performed automatically. All acquired news reports are displayed on the screen in the form of a list; search and filtering are provided.
News Browser module should not be mixed up with the News Browser standalone application (DSA-0300-15). The News Browser module is providing displaying of news reports list in different DJin configurations, while the News Browser] (DSA-0300-15) application is a separate software product which is working directly with [wikiDiDevDocDSIIModulesDSA-0700-15_EN Media DB (DSA-0700-15).
The News Browser module requires connection to Media DB] (DSA-0700-15) or [wikiDiDevDocDSIIModulesDSA-3000-15_EN Media DB Advanced Engine (DSA-3000-15).
