Schedule blocks replication method is working in the limits of one schedule as well as several schedules simultaneously. Is used in particular for repeated playback of schedule blocks.
Media planner reports generator is enhanced (better speed, progress indictator is added)
Internet streaming application (generation of audio stream with meta-data, X-player), and rebroadcasting of Internet stream (Rebroadcasting module 777).
Support of IceCast and ShoutCast servers with delivery of tags due to audio element being played

Early stop of playback of element in X-player is corected. It was happening in AUTO mode with long files - 1 hour. It was disturbing time zone broadcasting.
Actual on-air delivery time in the schedule was fixed with an error of +/- 1 sec. Corrected.
Audio element properties window in the drop-down boxes for categories, artists and authors now features promting mode: if you print "bea" you will immediately see all records starting with "bea", if you print "*bea", you will see all records with "bea" met anywhere in the name.

Version 2.9.6 (18 May 2005)¶

BUG 283: X-Player, when the next element starts to play but audio buffer actually inside the audio card does not start to output data and if the StartNext is pressed then this element remains in the player forever. Fixed.
BUG 281: X-Player did not update elements changed in the schedule. Bug from version 2.8.94. Fixed.
DB now features first approach of objects caching mechanizm.
Next attempt to decrease the CPU usage by agents. Situation has noticeably improved after decreasing DB stream priority and incerting of pauses.
When receiving blocks of schedule from the server the repeated blocks are omited. Server overload by agents is seriously decreased.
User attributes representation is added in the schedule. Columns are being created due to attribute name. Attributes of various types of material with the same name are represented in the same column. Attributes are appearing in the schedule after Refresh DB. After restart of the application if the connection with DB is not working only columns of attributes available during last session are shown.
DB window is now representing attributes of appropriate type. Attribute column appears in MDB window after refresh and change of material type. Unfortunately old lists are not re-read. User has to make adjustments by himself.
DB window list can be adjusted separately for every type of material.
Saving of user attributes is added in the schedule. ID, name and value are saved.
MAG columns are added to the schedule: mood, tempo etc.
BUG 207: Column name change possibility is restored.
Keyboard settings changes (adding of depressed button while closing windowby OK).
Bug is fixed which resulted in application crash while deleting of unused material.
File browser can provide PASTE operation for elements in the clipboard.

Version 2.9.5 (26 April 2005)¶

Logger: splitter locations are remembered.
BCS editor bug is fixed. A click was appearing during insert recording when a new material is being recorded over existing and the crossfade duration is more than 50 ms
BCS editor is restores the state of DB window (open/closed) while restart of application.
A bug is fixed: in 777 player schedule settings there were 2 variants instead of 1.
Logger. Sends e-mail about the signal failure not immediately but after a certain time. If the signal appears Logger is not sending the message.
File browser - context menu - now this is possible to start af_convert.exe to provide format conversion or marking etc.
777 is providing a log of recognized patterns and a log of switcher changeovers. What source is switched to what destination and why.
A bug is fixed. X-Player not starts wrong playing while in automatic mode waiting for start block according to fixed time and if somebody is deleting the first element of this block from another working place.
While deleting unused material old schedules and temporary files (voice tracks etc.) are erased as well. Settings can be done in General settings - base settings.
Playback using WAVE driver. If the returned value of playback position does not fit into the expected region the application takes into account the number of blocks being recordered and returned and is not asking audio card for the position anymore.
Function tDBThr::Query_GetIdenticalPH is changed - it is taking not all elements from the DB but the first one which is recognized as identical. Used in DB_Import.
Context menu in DB window is fixed. If there is no connection to DB then items context menu has only 2 lines: playback and copy to the clipboard.
Two functions of modification DB structure were missing in the format*Error: Failed to load processorTABLE_NAME*

, which may lead to the problem of version update if the user is not clearly notified in ODBC parameters. Fixed.

Logger now has correlator. It is available while separate recording of left and right channels and if the appropriate item of the "Channels setting" list is selected. Recording is started when the correlation between 2 channels is lost.

Version 2.9.4 (13 April 2005)¶

Clicks during insert recording in BCS editor in mp3 format. Fixed.
Initial setting of toolbars in BCS editor and Djin is added.
OBJ_LOG has now a setting of GPO during absense of the signal.

Error is fixed which was causing problems while working with AVI files

Version 2.9.3 (8 April 2005)¶

* Checking of access rights to the menu item "Set default dimensions" implemented

* Default directory for DBG_LOGs was not created. Before one had to set this directory obviously. Fixed.

* X-Player: algorithm change in control of commercials inserter.

* Block properties in the schedule. It is possible to select what properties may be applied to groups of blocks.

* Here are results of my last corrections from 2.8 to 2.9 (Armen):

* 2.9.1 version - DDB agent is fixed. But it appeared again. Again fixed.

* when adding to DB elements of schedules lengths of fields Comment, Category, Artist and Author are cut off to the sizes of these fields in DB. In that case SQL error is not generated. The same should be done for all string fields in all other tables for INSERT/UPDATE operations.

* Lot of corrections in DB_Import. Look: DB_Import::!MainFrm.cpp.

* A big set of functions was generating (ORDER) group not correctly while receiving list of audio elements. As result all received audio items were missing some attributes (artists and/or authors). Fixed.

* P_ELEM features corrected drawing in the fields lists INTRO1/2/3.

* Checking of keys in SCH_ORDER_ELEM was wrong. Fixed.

* Current DB version is updated to 1.7.8.0. MAG_WORK for MAG has appeared.

* tDB has an error in the function of elements update in DB - file name was not udpated. Fixed.

* Check of belonging to category in GetNextUnsortedElem function for list of audio elements in DB browser was wrong. Now it is working fast. May be even faster than in 2.6.xx version.

Version 2.9.1 (5 March 2005)¶

Import settings allow to define the place for non-musical clips. In the nearest or in the previous block.
Print out of keyboard settings is added.
Jingle Machine error is fixed which did not allow to open context menu.
Little changes associated with lists and trees.

* Schedule blocks have now 2 new "times". How earlier and how later the block may be aired. In these limits audio items are not cut but played till the end.

* P_ELEM TxtLogInfo is now dynamic variable rather than static class member. P_ELEM size is now 2 times smaller.

* DJIN bug 269 : Log file was missing some fields: BlockTime, PlaylistFile, ElemPlayOffAir, PlaylistDate, …

* Last changes in tDB caused an error resulting in incorrect updating of file bookmark by DDB-agent at the regional side. Fixed in CMN. Approrpiate corrections are made in version 1.9.1 of DDB agent.

* Correction of "about" - in lite-version, now it shows Lite-license message.

* pl_print in version 2.6.¬¬ was changed and these changes were used in DDB-agent. However these changes were not done in 2.8 so DDB-agent stopped to show on-air logs from regional stations. Fixed.

* New setting: display or not display starter window while closing of application (BUG 259).

* X-Player - while start of element by Play button (or by the end of external commercial block) if in case nothing is playing and remote control is available playback is started on an opened channel (not on channel A) (BUG 258).

* X-Player - BUG fixed - if audio element with prohibition to start next element was finished earlier than the previous one, the next element (after the element with STOP) started to play (BUG 257).

* Settings can not anymore change Process class priority, due to the resulting problems.

* BUG 268: GapFiller finally is not using anymore Content filler instead of GAP filler.

* File browser did not read some of the file fields (in particular audiuo element type

commercial, music etc).
Optimisation of schedule update speed in case of shedule change in the network. Noticeable at the significant changes of type of import skeleton.
