Hot Reserve (DSM-063-15) (rus)¶

The Hot Reserve module allows uniting resources of 2 and more on-air workstations for immediate automatic change over in the case if the main station fails to operate. At that broadcasting continues exactly due to the same schedule and from the same point as the main station was doing before failure. Thus, the Hot Reserve module provides possibility to continue airing in the case of main station failure. Connection between main and standby workstation is done via separate network cards: this link is used by the second station to monitor the life status of the main station.
