CD Grabber module (DS-16-000-15) is used to import audio content from audio CDs into files. During the copying process, the signal may be normalized, compressed to MPEG, gaps at the beginning and the end of the track removed etc. The application automatically accesses a CD database on the Internet and reads information from it about track names, performers and the like. The imported meta data can be automatically added to the specified Media DB (DS-07-000-15) categories.
It is not possible to use this tool for protected CD’s.
