Emulator of the ASIO-sound device for the Internet Streaming (DS-00-075-15) (rus)

{{Image("internet_asio_eng.png")}}

Internet Streaming Module with ASIO (DS-00-075-15) is intended for provision of delivery of audio signal from on-air workstation to Internet in the form of encoded stream directly via network without audio card. At that, an ASIO device is emulated in the system which is assigned in the settings of the streaming player. This device receives audio from the player, encodes it in the format of Icecast or Shoutcast server; adds meta data (description of a title being played) and sends it to a preset IP address of Icecast or Shoutcast server for further distribution in the Internet.

This module could be also used for sending audio signal to remote regional stations (broadcasting points) using public Internet channels. If the central (frame) and regional (local) stations are using Digispot II software, it is possible to establish point-to-point connection without using of Icecast/Broadcast servers for further rebroadcasting of the signal in FM range.

This technology could be also used for audio distribution purposes in big facilities (like trade malls, chain restaurants, gas stations, museums, etc) using simple receivers getting audio from network or Internet.
