Debug Logs and Crash Dumps Module (DS-00-074-15) (rus)¶

This Module is included in the Base DIGISPOT II platform. It keeps records of the changes of internal system components (debug logs); the stored data could help to find out the reason of failure of application. Analysis of the logs could help to undoubtedly understand what was the reason of the on-air mistake: a human factor or a hardware failure or incorrect behaving of the software. Apart from debug information, the module provides recording of crash dumps, i.e. images of software applications at the moments of critical error which leaded to crash or restart of application. Crash-dumps are analysed by the developers in order to find reasons of the software misbehaving and to find solutions to fix these errors.
