Automatic POP3 News Import Module (DS-00-047-15) is included in the DB import for the MDB software (DS-08-000-15) and is intended for radio stations with regular news blocks in their broadcasting net. The module provides news automatic news acquisition via POP3 protocol, their filtering and cataloging.
It provides automatic news import from mail servers of informational agents via POP3 protocol. During import text elements with the received news information are created in MDB (DS-07-000-15). Audio elements could be created in MDB if the incoming emails have audio attachments. Independently of the source of information, MDB element may have some attributes preset which allows to sort material at preview and search. To preset attributes, specify categories etc, a flexible rules system is used based on ASCII filters. News import is performed from multiple preconfigured news sources in parallel.
The module requires connection to Media DB] (DS-07-000-15) or [wikiDiDevDocDSIIModulesDS-29-000-15_ENG Media DB Advanced Engine (DS-29-000-15).
