{{Image("crossfade3_eng.png")}}
The Cross-fade Edit module (DS-00-025-15) allows you to create cross-fades between neighbouring schedule] or player elements providing more dense and accurate broadcasting without pauses between audio items It can "glue" 2 or 3 neighbouring audio items that are located in the same or in neighbouring blocks The user interface of this module is similar to the [wikiDiDevDocDSIIModulesDS-00-024-15_ENG BCS editor] (DS-00-024-15) so a user who is familiar with it will not need much time to get going Cross-fade editing can be done either in a [wikiDiDevDocDSIIModulesDS-00-005-15_ENG schedule] window from any workstation in the network or inside the play list of a block player but only at an ON-AIR workstation The [wikiDiDevDocDSIIModulesDS-00-008-15_ENG block player] (DS-00-008-15) can provide a cross-fade of an already playing audio element with the next one while the [wikiDiDevDocDSIIModulesDS-00-005-15_ENG schedule window allows for the cross-fade of next element after that being played.
This module requires the On-Air Schedule module (DS-00-025-15).
